~Swing Time~

Daddy put this swing in the tree for me to enjoy and I love it!!

This smile says it all.....look at all my teeth! I have four on bottom and two on top.

Reed, Levi and I ran outside to enjoy the amazing glow the other night. We get fantastic sunsets one of the great things about living here!

Levi finds all types of fun things to play with at Belva and Glenn's house. This is one of his favorites.....the spittoon!

~My First Haircut~

My dad has his barber licence from years ago so we asked if he would give Levi his first haircut.


Levi moves away as Papi tried to cut around his ear.

I don't like this! We tried giving him different items to distract him but it didn't work.

He moved a lot so this is how we were able to cut his duck tail off.

All finished. He is happy again.

~Me and My Trike~

Thank you Great Nino and Great Nina for this FUN tricycle! I just love when mommy and daddy take me outside on it. Mom likes to take me through the dirt and I like it.

We have a neighbor that has three dogs and Levi loves them. This is him staring at the dogs as they run back and forth along the fence barking at us.

He likes bikes just like his daddy.

Levi's first Christmas was wonderful. He was spoiled with gifts from everyone. He is enjoying all the toys. Thank you to my family for making this Christmas so very special. We love you all!!

Nana and Papi bought Levi this rocking horse it's really cute but he didn't like it. He was scared of the head because it moved and made noise. He is just a little too young to enjoy this gift but give him some time.

After we took him off the horse he just stared at it. We had to hide it behind the couch.

He loved the gift wrap and tissue paper.

Aunt Jenny made me this cozy blue blanket it even has my name on it. Thank you Aunt Jenny!

He's Moving!

8 wonderful months have past and Levi has given us great memories. He has been a blessing to our family. Everyday he does something fun and exciting. Today is his 9 month birthday and he has started to walk along furniture. Soon he will be taking his first steps. I am excited and sad at the same time that my baby boy is growing up so fast.

~Pozole~

We hosted our first Family Christmas party. Thank you mom, dad, April, Nina & Nino for driving up on a rainy day. I prepared pozole for the first time using Paula Heredia's famous recipe. It was a great dish for a cold day. What is better than spending the holidays with family!! We love you all and look forward to many more years of health and happiness.

~Christmas Time At The Bartlett House~

This is my favorite time of the year. We put up the Christmas lights, hung the wreath and bought a tree. The house smells like pine and Levi loves it. He has been exploring everything from tree stands to ornaments. Mommy and Daddy are on high alert! It's Christmas time in the desert.
